Description

Job Title: Payroll Technician
Department: Accounting
Reports To: Assistant Controller

SUMMARY
The Payroll Technician will be responsible for processing all aspects of payroll, maintaining the reservations for modular housing facility, maintaining the insurance records, preparing the daily deposit and other miscellaneous duties.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for all employees
• Prepare quarterly payroll tax reports and make weekly 941 tax payments
• Prepare monthly workers’ compensation reports
• Maintain reservations spreadsheet and occupancy history for modular housing facility
• Maintain insurance policy records and make sure all customers have proper insurance documentation on file
• Prepare the daily bank deposit and process via remote terminal
• Administrative duties for Chief Financial Officer
• Other duties as assigned


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES
• None


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
• Must be extremely proficient with Excel and Word
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to deal with customers, vendors and co-workers in a professional manner at all times
• MUST be able to multitask and be detail oriented.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years experience processing payroll and some formal accounting training is preferred.

Medical, Dental and 401k benefits offered. Pre-employment background and drug testing required.

Monday through Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hr lunch.
